- Abdulraheem Al-Zoubi, born in 1953, is a distinguished Jordanian leader with extensive experience in energy management and business administration. He has played a pivotal role in advancing Jordan’s energy sector through his leadership in major companies.
- Al-Zoubi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Jordan.
- Before transitioning to the private sector, Al-Zoubi dedicated 31 years of service in the Jordanian Armed Forces, where he gained extensive leadership, strategic planning, and management experience. Following his distinguished military career, he went on to lead several key companies in Jordan’s energy sector as General Manager:
- 1. The National Company for Oil and Electricity Production from Oil Shale: Al-Zoubi successfully led the company’s initiatives in utilizing Jordan’s oil shale resources to produce oil and electricity. His strategic leadership contributed significantly to enhancing the country’s energy independence.
- 2. Al-Sultani International Oil Company: As General Manager, he played a crucial role in managing the company’s operations, which included oil and gas exploration, fertilizer trade, cement trading, and infrastructure development.
- 3. Al-Qamar Company for Energy and Infrastructure: Under his leadership, the company adopted innovative technologies for oil extraction from Jordan’s oil shale reserves. His efforts were instrumental in establishing experimental technology stations and expanding production capabilities.

Mike Ferguson, P.Eng. Advisor Coal, Potash, Phosphate and Geothermal
- Mike is President and CEO of Gensource Potash Corp. Canada.
- He is a professional engineer with over 25 years experience in potash and uranium mining projects in Saskatchewan. Mike graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. Following a few years spent with the Canadian Military, Mike settled back in Saskatoon and has spent his entire mining career in Saskatchewan participating in projects in potash, uranium, gold and base metals. His experience ranges from working at the mining face behind a Marietta Miner in a potash operations, to in-plant engineering (both surface plant and underground), engineering management, project management through to general management of engineering and EPCM companies.
- Most recently, Mike successfully led the Potash One project team responsible for the development of the Legacy Project in Southern Saskatchewan from initial exploration through scoping-, pre-feasibility- and feasibility studies and an approved EIS, to the point where it was acquired by the international potash producer K+S Group of Germany. Mike brings to Gensource not only his experience in the potash industry but also the unique experience of leading the development of a greenfield potash property in Saskatchewan – the first such project to be developed in over 40 years.
Dr. M. N. Verma. Advisor Coal and Fertilizer
- Over four decades of professional experience in the manufacturing sector, encompassing planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of plant operations, quality assurance, environmental management, refining processes, mining operations, and business development.
- Served as a visiting faculty member at Aligarh Muslim University and St. John's College of Engineering and Management, both affiliated with Madras University. Additionally, held membership on the Technical Committee of Caledonian College of Engineering in Muscat, Oman.
